Kerygma (taken from ke·ryg´·ma n. Christianity The proclamation of religious truths, especially as taught in the Gospels.[Greek krugma, preaching, proclamation, from krux, krug-, herald.]; n : preaching the Gospel of Christ in the manner of the early church ; also a proclamation of God’s Revelation in Christ, especially as preached by the Gospels):

is a creative and heartfelt proclamation of the Word designed to draw participants personally into Gospel stories and thereby into a greater and more intimate experience of, and love for, Jesus Christ. Once having personally encountered Christ, the individual and community seeks to live that experience, sharing what they have found with others (witness) through a creative and dynamic response to the Word (personal call/mission/service) in community.

Kerygma

Proclaiming the Gospels and the Gospel message through drama, art, music and other creative expressions, brings the Gospels to life for not only the proclaimers, but for the participants as well. We see the Gospels through new eyes, through the eyes of each other, and the Word becomes a dynamic, living breathing expression of the Spirit, who calls, in each time, for conversion to Jesus Christ, and for a deeper walk with Him.

1 John 1:1-4

What was from the beginning,
what we have heard,
what we have seen with our eyes,
what we looked upon and touched with our hands
concerning the Word of life--
for the life was made visible;
we have seen it and testified to it
and proclaimed to you the eternal life
that was with the Father and was made visible to us--
what we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you,
so that you too may have fellowship with us;
for our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.
We are writing (proclaiming) this so that our joy may be complete.
